Encontré una biblia en el baúl de mi casa, comencé a reflexionar sobre mi niñez, esta cuarentena me ha evocado y me ha llevado, al pasado a los recuerdos ya olvidados en mi memoria, de esta forma comencé a leer los versículos más fuertes y violentos, los arrugué como un acto de enojo y comencé a punzar con la aguja y el hilo rojo, para tapar de alguna forma estas palabras tan fuertes como un acto de borrar mis propios recuerdos, para comenzar una nueva historia.

 El hilo y la aguja se han hecho mis mejores amigas durante estos meses de confinamiento. Romper, coser, bordar y tejer son la representación de un acto de liberación, deshaciendo para construir de nuevo.

Levantando un nuevo ser, entrelazando, tejiendo mis dolores y mis memorias, resignificando las emociones en esa acción, así como para las mujeres de algunas etnias indígenas trenzar simboliza una operación sanadora, en donde se tejen los dolores y la angustia interna, expulsando la tristeza, enredándola en el pelo con cantos para curar.   

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           I found a bible in the boot of my house, I began to reflect on my childhood, this quarantine has evoked and taken me, to the past to the memories already forgotten in my memory, in this way I began to read the strongest and most violent verses, I crumpled them as an act of anger and began to puncture with the needle and the red thread, to somehow cover these strong words as an act of erasing my own memories, to begin a new story.

The thread and the needle have become my best friends during these months of confinement. Breaking, sewing, embroidering and knitting are the representation of an act of liberation, undoing to build anew.
Raising a new being, interweaving, weaving my pains and my memories, resignifying the emotions in that action, just as for the women of some indigenous ethnic groups braiding symbolises a healing operation, where pains and inner anguish are woven, expelling sadness, entangling it in the hair with songs to heal.
